He calculated that in 7 BC Saturn and Jupiter met in Pisces constellation and were observed as one very bright star. According to Matthew the Apostle, the date of the Savior’s birth was during Herod’s reign in Judea. According to the Roman and Jewish historian and writer Flavius Josephus, king Herod died on the night of March 12th to 13th 4 BC.
